Démonstrations de Véhicules Anciens - Gallardon 2018

1910 Bédélia BD2 Cyclecar
This blog will always be dedicated to covering small local events as well as the larger well known events at Le Mans and elsewhere.  One such event, I love covering is the annual event in early October organised at the Musée Ateliers des Pionniers by the old railway station at Gallardon.  It is a fun event with non-timed runs up the public road in front of the old station "Gare de Pont-sous-Gallardon".  Enthusiasts arrive with their two, three and four wheeled old vehicles.  Great fun is to be had by all and one comes across makes of vehicle one had never even heard of before!   The museum itself is well worth a visit and this year is featuring an exhibition of Isle of Man Tourist Trophy racers from 1907 to 1950.  A link to the museum's site can be found below.

Many of the cars, three-wheelers and motos participating can be seen below.  Apologies for not identifying many of the vehicles - feel free to leave a comment to identify your treasure!

Démonstration de Véhicules Anciens - Gallardon, 2017

GN Martyr Cyclecar doing a demonstration run at Gallardon.
We interrupt our coverage of Laguna Seca to bring you photos of a local event in Gallardon, France.  Today was the occasion of the annual demo runs at the Musée Atéliers des Pionniers.   Unfortunately, the weather was not favourable this year but I certainly had an enjoyable hour seeing these lovely old cars, three wheelers and bikes.  Thanks to the participants for coming out on a rainy day.
