49ème Rallye National d'Autun - Sud Morvan

Runner-up in Class A5 was this Peugeot 205 Rallye of Jean-Philippe and Maxime Julien.
On the 22nd August I was in the Morvan region of France for a French National Championship Tarmac Rally.  The 49th Rallye National d'Autun - Sud Morvan attracted a good field of over 170 cars and also a large number of spectators where I was, near Cussy-en-Morvan.  This was the first stage ES1 between Sommant and Lucenay and I found a couple of positions so as to get a variety of shots.  The cars were impressively fast and although it was a tarmac/asphalt rally, a number of competitors were keen to get a couple of wheels on the grass!

Overall winners of the rally were Pierre and Martine Roché in this Citroën C3 R5.
Second overall was a similar car crewed by William Wagner and Kévin Millet.
Third place on the podium went to this Skoda Fabia R5 of Denis Millet and Bertrand Angonin.
In sixth place was this Ford Fiesta R5 of Maxime and Margot Dupuy.
First Alpine A110 and winner of the R-GT class was that of Hugo Bonfils and Olivier Brouze.
The second Alpine A110 was this example crewed by Pierre Lafay and Nicolas Mathon.

The Renault Clio RS of Fleurot and Jeudy hits problems on the first stage and retired on the next.
