Course de Côte Nationale Sport Saint Goueno Côte d'Armor 2017

The Norma of Manuel Mangold at speed.  He was 35th overall.
The main event at Saint-Goueno was of course the battle for outright victory in the Championnat de France de la Montagne.  This as usual was a battle between the big engined sports cars and the occasional old F3000 / Formula Nippon car.  Behind this there were battles for the 2 litre sports car class, F3 class and Formula Renault class, not to mention the classes for motor cycle engined cars.
The eventual winner, Sébastien Petit in his big engined Norma M20FC, attacks the hill.
The Sébastian Petit tent in the paddock with his winning Norma in the foreground and a Lamborghini and a Porsche in the background.

Charlie Martin recovers after a big hairy moment coming out of one of the fast corners.  This year she is driving a 2 litre Norma prepared by Nicolas Schatz.  She came a good eleventh overall and seventh in class.
Queueing for the second run on Saturday is Jean-Jacques Maitre in a Tatuus PY012. It makes a pleasant change from seeing all the Normas.

Yann Marchand in a Dallara 394 who was 56th fastest.

Sébastien Tourillon in his 2 litre Norma M20FC.  He was 26th overall.
Geoffrey Schatz chatting with the other drivers with his Reynard 01KL F3000 in the background.  Geoffrey finished second overall and top single seater.
Olivier Augusto in his 2 litre Norma M20 FC.  He came in eighth fastest overall.
