Vintage Day's Virollet 2022

A Simca Chambord and other collectible cars including a Ford Gran Torino in Starsky and Hutch colours.

The fourth edition of Vintage Day's at Virollet in the Charente Maritime department of France was held in late July 2022.  Included, as part of the event, was a gathering of US and other collectible cars.   Some of them can be seen in this post.  A nice event but a very hot sunny day.

Perhaps my favourite car on show was this 1959 Ford Consul MkII Lowline.  A car that that takes me back to my youth.

An even older Ford.

A newer American gas guzzler - this one a late fifties Cadillac.

A 1965 Ford Thunderbird 6.4 litre V8.

1957 Chevrolet Corvette C1 4.6 litre V8 and a VW Bus.

Excalibur a car made in Wisconsin USA.

Jane and a memory from her youth - a Chrysler New Yorker from the fifties.

Some cute little motorised miniature racing cars.

Volkswagen and two Ciroën 2CVs.

A rather nice Cadillac and caravan combination.
