The dominant winner from Slovenia in the Trophée des Nations. |
A very nice addition to the Course de Côte d'Abreschviller-St Quirin was a special category for hillclimb racers from other European countries who competed in the Trophée des Nations. Twenty cars were entered from eight different countries and seventeen were classified. There were some fast and noisy cars and some variety compared to the French championship runners so the spectators enjoyed it.
The winner was Slovenian driver Patrick Zajelsnik in this Norma M20 FC |
Second was Swiss driver Joël Volluz in this Osella FA30. He won the Groupe E2 - SS/D/E. |
Third was German driver Bastian Voss in this Tatuus Formula Master. |
Fourth was Slovenian driver Alexander Zajelsnik in this Norma M20F |
Fifth was German driver Dino Gebhard in this Norma M20F. |
Sixth was Swiss driver Fabien Houlmann in a very fast Peugeot 205. He won the E1 Group. |
Seventh was Italian driver Egidio Pisano in a big winged Volkswagen Golf 16V. |
Eighth was German driver Gerd Kauff in this Dallara TA2 Nissan. |
Ninth was Belgian driver Sébastien Starck in this Honda Civic C Type R. |
Tenth was German driver Andreas Voss in this Tatuus Formula Renault. |
Eleventh was Luxembourg driver Michel Fernandes in this Peugeot 308 GTi. |
Twelfth was Spanish driver Ted Santos in a smoky Seat Ibiza. |
Thirteenth was Luxembourg driver Sandra Donkels-Becker in this Renault Clio |
Fourteenth was French driver Yannick Flammang in this Peugeot 206. |
Fifteenth was French driver Kévin Lenoir in this Peugeot 106 PHI Kitcar. |
Sixteenth was Luxembourg driver Monique Becker in this Alfa Romeo 147 GTA Cup. |
Seventeenth was French driver Lucien Sulprizio in this Peugeot 207 THP. Here he is at the tight hairpin bend near the start of the hill. He was the winner and only competitor in Group A. |
