Zandvoort Passraces 2017 - Dutch Truck Racing

Easter Saturday's front row of the grid with Heinz Werner Lenz's SL Racing Mercedes truck nearest the camera and Cees Zandbergen's Rainbow Warrior Scania next to it.   They ended up as the most successful driver's of the weekend.

Dutch truck racing started in the early eighties and is still going strong today.  The motor racing purist may often turn up his nose at it but for the average punter it is a lot of fun.  Easter Saturday saw the first round of this year's Dutch championship.  Here are some pictures from the grid and the practice session earlier in the day.
