51ème Course de Côte d'Abreschviller-St Quirin - Voitures de Production - 2023

 

Ferrari 430 GTO driven by Vincent Lagache

There were lots of interesting cars in the "Voitures de Production" at the 51ème Course de Côte d'Abreschviller-St Quirin including two Ferraris, lots of Porsches, fast BMWS and a CG Simca from the seventies.  The third round of the 2023 Championnat de France de la Montagne Voitures de Production, this hillclimb is 2.1km long and climbs up the D96 towards St Quirin in the Moselle department of France.   Nicolas Werver, who had won the two previous rounds was absent and Ronald Garces crashed on his third run.   This gave the chance to Yannick Poinsignon to take his first win of the year and to lead the championship.

The fastest production car and winner of the GTTS Group was Yannick Poinsignon in this BMW M3 E92.

Second was this Porsche 991.2 GT3 Cup driven by Paul Reutter.

Third was Philippe Schmitter in this Renault RS01.

Fourth was this Porsche 996 GT2 R of Frédéric Neff.

Fifth was Ronald Garces in this big winged Porsche 991 R Turbo.  He later went into the bank at the end of this straight.

Sixth was this Ferrari 430 GTO of Vincent Lagache.

Seventh overall and winner of the FC Group was Christophe Poinsignon in this Simca CG turbo.

Eighth overall was Loic Cordier in this Porsche 992 GT3 Cup. 

Ninth overall and winner of Group A was Francis Dosieres in this Cupra Supercopa Mk3.

Tenth overall and second in Group A was this Peugeot 308 Racing Cup of Jacques Paget.

Eleventh overall and third in Group A was Alain Perraud in this Seat Leon Supercopa Mk3.

Twelfth overall wand winner of Group N was this BMW M3 E36 driven by Sébastien Lemaire.

Winner of Group FN was Gaëtan Jeannel in this Mitsubishi Lancer Evo S.

Winner of Group F2000 was this Peugeot 205 driven by Sébastien Rochatte.

Top female competitor in the production category was Morane Cat Mackowiak in this Group N BMW M3 E36.

Winner of the Group GT was Eric Michon in this Ferrari 430.

Second in the Group GT was this BMW Z4M of Joël Richard.

Winner of Class GTTS 1 was Aurore Louison in this Mitjet 1300.

Second in Group FC was this Simca Rallye 2 of Laurent Brossard.

Winner of Class GT1 was Fabien Maillard in this Lotus Elise S2.
