For those who don't know of Sébastien Ogier, he is the current Superstar of World Rallying.  He been World Rally Champion for the last seven years (2012 to 2018) driving for Volkswagen and Ford.  This year he has returned to Citroën and in January won the Rallye Monte-Carlo for them.  This was his seventh victory in the Rallye Monte-Carlo, equalling the record of his compatriot Sébastien Loeb.  Thus it was a great pleasure for all the spectators in the Stade de France who were attending the Trophée Andros event to see Sébastien demonstrating his considerable skills that have taken him to 45 WRC event victories.  A number of other rally greats were there too, as you can see in the picture above, to celebrate the 30 years of the Trophée Andros.
The Citroën WRC team being interviewed in the paddock.
Citroën are a formidable team in the World Rally Championship.  They have eight manufacturers titles and 100 WRC wins. With the return of Sébastien Ogier  to the team expectations are high  but so far it has gone well with a victory in the Rallye Monte-Carlo.  As usual this year, Ogier is accompanied by his co-driver Julien Ingrassia. They will now head to Sweden and the tough Scandinavian forests full of snow.  Maybe Saturday's ice oval gave him a little practice!

A grand spectacle commences.

The obligatory interview.
Completely sideways but in complete control!
The ice was beginning to break up by the end of the evening in the warm conditions.
