Le Mans Classic 2018 - Plateau Three - 1957 to 1961

A 1960 Aston Martin DB4 GT leads the field after their Le Mans start.  Following is a Lister Jaguar and the Ferrari Breadvan,
Lovely to see some Ferraris in this plateau.  This plateau three represents cars that were originally built between 1957 and 1961.  This period at Le Mans saw the last Jaguar D Type victory, the only Aston Martin victory and three Ferrari victories.  It also represents a golden era for GT cars such as the 250GT, DB4GT, the E Type, Corvette and Elite.  All were represented.

Somehow I missed going around the Plateau Three paddock and thus all photos are of their first race on Saturday.  I started of at the Esses and then walked along to Tertre Rouge.  I hope you enjoy my photos of this nice grid of cars.

Winner on scratch was Wills and Clark in their 1958 Lotus XV.
