Le Mans Classic 2018 - Global Endurance Legends

1.  2003 Bentley Speed 8 LM GTP.  Exciting to see this car for the first time.
Global Endurance Legends is a club for owners of GT ands Sports Racing Cars from the 1990s and 2000s.  This year they are providing support to various Peter Auto events including the le Mans Classic.   These are demonstration runs and not races but are a great way for the owners to driver their cars at classic venues and for us spectators to see these beautiful cars.  For some of us we are seeing these cars for the first time and for others it is a reminder of some classic endurance races of the past.  Either way, I thoroughly approve of this being part of the Le Mans Classic.  These demo runs cover the post Group C period 1994 until 2014.   Here are ten of my favourite Global Endurance legends.  See if you agree with my choice and order of ranking.

2.  1997 Ferrari 333 SP LMP1.  At any sports car event you have to have a Ferrari.
3.  2007 Pescarolo 01 LMP1.  Henri Pescarolo is such a le Mans legend that I must include one of his cars.
4.  2000 Audi R8 LMP 900.   Audi was such a part of this era that again they are obligatory.
5.  1996 Morgan Plus 8 GTR GT2.  The sheer absurdness of the aerodynamics appeals to me.
6.  1999 Panoz Roadster S LMP900.   A modern front engined prototype.
7.  2011 Peugeot 908 Hdi LMP1.  Being a Francophile, I really can't ignore the Peugeot.
8.  2000 Reynard 2KQ Mopar Oreca LMP900.  Just like the look of this one.
9.  1998 Panoz Esperante GTR-1 GT1.   No apologies for including a second Panoz.  An amazing looker.
10.  2005 Audi R8 LMP 900.  A second Audi makes it into the top ten as well.
