2015 Tour Auto - On the road again

Following my previous two posts, we also covered the leg 1 road section of the 2015 Tour Auto Optic 2000 between Égleny and Le Veurdre.   It is good to see these old classic sports cars on the road as in the fifties and sixtties they often raced on public roads in France, Italy and elsewhere.   Particularly nice to see the cars in many different locations and plenty of opportunities to take photos of both the competition and regularity cars.  Here are some top pictures from the day.

Égleny

Beautiful Ferrari 250 GT Berlinetta in the shade under the trees by the church in Égleny 

These cars were waiting to take part in the special stage have travelled from the Chateau de Courances.

Toucy

All in all a great day spent with Gareth and Peter following the Tour Auto between Égleny and Le Veurdre.
